Rami Katz is a filmmaker and photographer who lives in Vancouver, BC. He recently completed his MFA in Film Production at the University of British Columbia, where he received the H. Norman Lidster Prize in Documentary Filmmaking. His MFA thesis film is a thirty-five minute documentary titled "The Issue of Mr. O'Dell".​​​​​​​ The film premiered at the 2018 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, where it received the President's Award, awarded to the best student film. Katz is a past participant of the RIDM Talent Lab, and his short films have screened at nearly two dozen film festivals around the world.​​​​​​​
